Association of Medical Colleges of Kyrgyzstan

Goals and objectives of the Association of Medical Colleges of Kyrgyzstan:

The main goal of the Association is to coordinate activities, as well as to provide and protect the interests of the members of the Association.

  • The Association unites and coordinates the activities of medical colleges implementing educational programs in the field of healthcare, regardless of the organizational and legal form and the form of co-ownership;

  • Improving the quality of education in the field of health and medical science.

  • Assistance in expanding the relationship and cooperation between members of the Association.

  • Develop a unified educational program together with medical educational institutions of Kyrgyzstan, actively participate and contribute to the project to reform medical education in Kyrgyzstan, implemented by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Science.

The creation of the Association of Medical Colleges is an initiative of the director of the Uzgen International Medical College O.T. Stanbaev. Objective: To develop a unified educational program together with medical educational institutions in Kyrgyzstan, actively participate and contribute to the project to reform medical education in Kyrgyzstan, implemented by the Ministry of Health and the Ministry of Education and Science.

On June 10, 2017, the Ministry of Education and Science held a round table. During the round table, the proposal of O.T. Stanbaev was considered. on the establishment of the association, and with the support of the meeting participants, the Association of Medical Colleges of Kyrgyzstan was established. At the same meeting, the Charter of the Association was discussed. The Association of Legal Entities is called the Association of Medical Colleges of Kyrgyzstan, and the board members and chairman of the association were elected. Director of Uzgen International Medical College of Osh State University Stanbaev Uzgenbai Tillabaevich was nominated for the chairmanship of the association and the proposal was approved unanimously. The Association and its charter are registered with the Ministry of Justice.

On November 24, 2017, a meeting was held between representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science and the Ministry of Health, directors, deputy directors and methodologists of 27 medical colleges from all regions of the country to discuss the work plan of the Association for 2018 and the contribution of the Association. The activity plan of the Association for 2018 was agreed and approved by the Ministries of Education and Science and Health.
